Experience the unique Merzig Wolf Park by wolf researcher Werner Freund, which is also the starting point of the Merzig Wolf Trail. This leads you over 9.4 kilometres past the wonderful 'Garden of the Senses', one of the most beautiful 'gardens without borders' in the border triangle of Germany, Luxembourg and France. Marvel at the diversity of the Saarland landscape on the Wolfsweg and enjoy magnificent views over the Saar as far as the Saar Loop and the Saargau in Merzig. Or hike through the marvellous orchards in the Saargau. The 'Stones on the Border' sculpture symposium on the nearby Franco-German border will inspire you as a hiking enthusiast. In the evening, relax with a good Saarland beer and recharge your batteries for the next day with a hearty and delicious meal. Parkrun & 'Das BAD' - Special

For all runners and friends of the parkrun family. Run the Leinpfad parkrun every Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Merzig city park (startseite | Leinpfad parkrun | Leinpfad parkrun). After the run you can take a shower in your hotel room and relax with a coffee. We offer late check out until 12 noon.

On the day of your arrival, enjoy relaxing hours in the adventure pool "Das BAD" (20% discount through us) with swimming, slides, thermal world with Bietzen healing water, massages or a great sauna. And in the evening a delicious meal in our fine restaurant or on our beautiful Roemer terrace.

Tours to France, Luxembourg or the Saarland

Whether by mountain bike, racing bike or motorbike - there are exciting and interesting tours from Merzig into the surrounding countryside. The hilly landscape in Merzig and the surrounding area as far as France and Luxembourg is ideal for varied tours: by bike in the Merzig region with its small "mountains" (up to 400 metres), the Saar Loop and the Gaul landscape on the border with France or as far as the Moselle to Luxembourg.

For motorcyclists there are a variety of tour options as far as Luxembourg and France, the Eifel or, for example, a tour of the Saarland.

Round off an eventful day with a cosy meal on our garden terrace, spend the night in our relaxing rooms and fortify yourself in the morning with our sumptuous breakfast buffet. Your bicycles or motorbikes can be safely stored in our garages. We are happy to provide you with a hearty packed lunch.
